Just an update from our suppliers on these in case you were interested
CART055 is the canon model of the HP416, also it's upgrade item of CRG046 and HP CF410, cartridge shape is similar with different chip.
We have heard someone can offer this item with a chip, but actually it is an OEM used chip and not a new chip
We also did series test with OEM used chip and found below problems which is easy to mislead the user:
- Page yield could not be accounted correctly, will not remind the user to replace cartridge until a blank page is printed
- Printing performance is lighter
- OEM used chip needs to use reused in the same model, for example, one OEM chip works in A printer, after replaced to the new compatible cartridge, this new compatible cartridge also only work in A printer, B is not workable.
Based on above information, we do not suggest working with this way
Also there is quite a few updated canon machines that take our cartridges too see new models in yellow
